Unique House Plans That Express Your Personality
One of the reasons I like living in San Francisco is because of the unique house plans. They are a lot of places in this country, where people use their wealth to construct huge-mansions. Instead of trying for elegant, attractive houses that mean something, they simply try to construct the largest, most costly object that they can to boast their riches. For me, this is not the way to go. The best thing about having money is being able to express yourself in your living situation. A unique custom house plan can do this.
On the street where I live, there are a lot of different unique house plans to be seen. You could possibly see an Art Deco house right alongside a traditional Tudor and next to that, a building that looks kind of like an old-style barnyard, but much larger. Even though I don’t like all of these unique house plans – a few of them are out-and-out ugly – I do respect their readiness to take risks. And with risks, there are frequently great acts of beauty.
On the hills, for example, can be seen some of the most unique house plans in the whole city. There are homes that are constructed around streams in a style that echoes the workings of the great architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Some of these houses have entrances at the back, elaborate networks of passageways, and a well-balanced design that seems to sit well with their surroundings. They also encompass fascinating gardens, huge windows, and other characteristics that make their house plans unique.
Trying to come up with your own unique house plan can prove difficult – as I found out for myself. While there are plenty of unique designs available, finding the one that’s just right for you can be a painstaking process. In my case, I had to go through well over a hundred or so different designs before I came across the ideal unique house plans. In fact it was one of the plans I initially looked at, but after looking at it in more detail it was just right. It was roomy, exciting, and well planned for entertaining in such a favorable environment. With plenty of outdoor space bordered by awnings which guard against the wind. With such mild weather, I’d have opportunity to entertain outside all year-round. This is a huge bonus for those who enjoy having a lot of guests over to their house. I definitely have taken advantage of it many times since then.
